ملخص المجريات الميدانية في اللاذقية في جمعة "الموت ولا المذلة" 2/9/2011
مع انتهاء عيد الفطر ومجيء يوم الجمعة كثّف الأمن من دورياته وانتشاره في حي الصليبة خصوصاً, حيث أخذوا يجوبون الشوارع ومعهم سيارات بيك أب مليئة بعناصر من ميليشات الأسد ومعهم كافة أنواع الأسلحة.
و حاصر الأمن جامع الفتاحي لمنع خروج مظاهرة منه, هذا وقد نبه أمام المسجد بعدم الخروج لأول مرة وكأنه قد تم تهديده.
كما قام الأمن والشبيحة بمداهمة المنازل في بناء صيدلية العناية قرب معمل جعارة في الصليبة.
ومع انطلاق المتظاهرين من أمام جامع غريب باتجاه مستشفى الرازي انقض الامن من جهة فرع الشبيية من خلفهم، وشن حملة اعتقالات طالت حتى مجموعة من الشباب غير المتظاهر.
كما انطلقت مظاهرة من أمام جامع المغربي في منطقة القلعة تطالب بإسقاط النظام.
وفي حي الطابيات حاول المتظاهرون الخروج من جامع الرحمن بعد هتافهم الموت ولا المذلة, إلا أن الأمن انقض عليهم ومنعهم من التظاهر.
قامت قوات الامن والشبيحة بجولة استفزازية في ساحة قنينص وذلك لإخافة الناس قبيل صلاة الجمعة.
وسمعت أصوات إطلاق رصاص من جهة حي الفاروس مع تواجد أمني كثيف في المنطقة.

Eid ends, another Friday begins, and security intensifies specially in Slaybeh neighborhood where they were spotted roaming around in their pick-up cars carrying many types of guns and weapons. Something similar happened in Qnainas area prior to Friday prayer to scare people away from protesting.
Al-Fattahi mosque was surrounded by security to prevent a demonstration from shaping up, while the mosque's Imam asked people not to demonstrate for the first time under threats by the looks of it.
Security and Shabbiha [thugs] were reported to have raided the Inaya pharmacy building in Slaybeh.
Despite all that a demonstration started in front of Ghareeb mosque and headed to Al-Razi hospital when security stormed in arresting many protesters and even some of those who existed in the area not necessarily protesting.
Another protest took place near Al-Mughrabi mosque calling for the downfall of the regime, and another one kicked off out of Al-Rahman mosque in Tabiyat only to be faced by security who dispersed the demonstration.
Finally, gunfire was heard out of Al-Faroos area among heavy security presence there.
