Defected soldier
Yahiya Zachariah died yesterday in Al-Ghouta in Reef-Dimasque during clashes
between the FSA and Assad militias in that area.
Two got
arrested yesterday on Masbah Al-Shaab barrier after having their cars shot at,
and today brother Abdulla and Ayman Dalati in their workplace at Telecom in
Jableh by the air force intelligence.
People in
Tabiyat demonstrated in Support of Slaybeh area which was attacked by security
and gangs; cheers were for Slaybeh, and also for the FSA and the Syrian cities. A night demo took place in Slaybeh near Hourriah School.
A high level
meeting took place today morning at the ruling party branch opposite the Casino
restaurant, many Jeep and gangs’ cars started pouring in since 10:00 in the
morning; high ranked officers attended.
A car got
burnt in Skantoori got burnt around 5:00 this morning; the car belonged to a
First Lieutenant in the regime army who is accused with crimes against humanity
in Homs, and so it is suspected to have a reaction. Dounia TV crew came and interviewed
his father.
Surveillance
flight was detected over villages in Latakia, also three warplanes and two
helicopters were seen flying all over many places in Jableh and surrounding
areas for 6 hours this morning.
Two security
barriers were seen on the Latakia-Haffeh road; one near Salheih, and the other
near Bhalo. A mobile barrier was seen near the Souq Al-Jouma roundabout.
Security and
gangs spread in Qnainas, and a Toyota security car blocked the road at a traffic
signal stopping a civilian car and arresting the owner; we’re yet to know his
name or the reason for the arrest.
More than 35
security members on feet escorted by 5 security cars were seen leaving
Abu-Swais street heading towards their base. Their manners were provocative and
aimed at striking fear in normal citizens and were sometimes met by cheers of “Allhu
Akbar”.
