Top news of
the day had to be the shelling of villages in Kurds Mountains; Kabbineh was
shelled using planes and heavy machine-guns, and so was the case in Kebbani.
Other villages like Kindeh, Ikko, and Touma were also subject to shelling since
the morning with power and all communications off in the area.
Also, Ali
Fakheredine died and many were injured after the vicious attack on Marouniat
village near Salma.
Later there
has been shelling on Babanna and Jengeel using mortar, and 20 armed gangs’ cars
headed to raid the two villages.
After raiding
and looting Haffeh Assad forces are now positions in Saraya Square with
barriers extracted in: 1. Al-Gharbi Mosque 2. Souq area 3. Babanna exit 4. Bkas
from Haffeh side 5. Qalaa area.
House of
former parliament member from Haffeh engineer Adnan Bitar was completely robbed
by Assad gangs.
Other Assad gangs’
practices in Haffeh were bringing down houses of Abu-Saed Dabbuseh and Ziad
al-Jindi. Murhaf Family’s house of three stories was robbed before being
brought down along with the shop they owned. Jaafer Family’s house was also
brought down to the ground after being robbed along with the guard’s house. Agricultural
machines and equipment as well as water pumps were stolen from farms of
Abu-Amin Aabdeen, Abu-Tareq al-Ashqar, and Shafeeq Muna.
Assad forces
also occupied 9 civilian houses in Haffeh turning them into stations for them,
and when locals tried to claim them back they were treated badly.
Some services
were back in Haffeh today like electricity, water, and landlines, but in
Latakia mobile lines were off in most areas for a while.
Muheidin
Srour from Slaybeh died today on hands of Assad gangs in Saqba city where he lived.
A security
cars was seen roaming in Slaybeh today, and last night a big explosion was
heard in Slaybeh and then gunfire was heard near Skantoori barrier.
