We start off with last night as heavy clashes between FSA and
Assad forces took place on Aleppo Highway near Qasatel area.
Shelling with artillery and rocket launchers got heavier last
night on Salma and surrounding villages, and it was followed with shelling of
Ido and Wadi Basur villages using mortar and rocket launchers. Shelling sounds
as well as gunfire were heard in al-Raml area in Latakia.
Today shelling using artillery and tanks resumed on Salma,
and Iman Mosque was partially damaged. Numbers of wounded is on the increase as
many houses and being brought down due to the shelling on Kurds Mountains.
Imad Sqati was released today after spending 3 moths in Assad
prisons, he’s a father of four from Mashrou’ al-Qalaa, and he was arrested in
his workplace in Owieneh.
Also, senior citizen Zuhair Muhammad Balleh [Abu-Ammar] from
Jableh was released.
A demo took to streets of Mashrou’ al-Slaybeh this afternoon
coming out of Hussein Mosque, and another night demo took place in Slaybeh and
was attacked and dispersed by security before protesters gathered again after
five minutes.
Tight inspection for men and women took place today on all
barriers in al-Raml area, and a long queue was seen from Masbah al-Shaab
barrier all the way till the Republican Palace.
