We'll start with the demos; as at
noon a demo took to the streets from Usama Bin Zaid school in Al-Qalaa up until
security surrounded the area, and intensive security presence was seen in
Mashou' Al-Slaybeh after dispersing a student demo near Shukri Hakim school,
and after attacking students they all ran into Tabiyat area where they gathered
again and blocked a street with a garbage can, while security building halls in
search of students and managed to arrest two 16-year-olds.
Security also dispersed a student
protest getting out of Salim Dailaneh girls school.
Girls of Al-Moujamma protested
inside their school today, and threw paper clippings with revolution slogans,
whereas 3 cars waited outside Yusef Naddaf school in Al-Raml preventing
students getting in and out from protesting, in addition to two security cars
near Usama Bin Zaid.
Most schools of Latakia such as
Adnan al-Maliki and Maher Darweesh received a security threat today warning
against demonstrating, and promising to destroy the school and go after
students, this is according to Maher Darweesh school teachers.
Early in the morning, regime, with
the help of Iskan company labor, painted over freedom writing on some
shopfronts in Al-Tujjar market street, and they searched garbage cans for
bombs.
People of Skantoori were forced to
stay in today amid security claims of a bomb installed in the area, Dounia TV
was there claiming the bomb was installed by "armed gangs".
A big explosion blasted in the
Qnainas neighborhood.
Power was off in Al-Raml for more
than 6 hours today as everyday, while Assad thugs were all over Al-Hirsh road.
Armed members on barriers attacked Al-Sidawi area in an attempt to terrorize
them.
News say that Zakarya Selwayeh, a
strong supporter of the regime, become Latakia's general Mufti.
Here's the situation in Tishreen
university:
- Armed members are guarding all entries, and students are being searched all the time.
- Everyone is under strict surveillance, and any gathering will have security nearby.
- Any student from Daraa or Idleb or any hot spot is seen as a security threat, and all classes have informants within.
- Pro-regime students are active inside and outside campus, they would prepare reports to give to Assad security, while some would even help attack demonstrators and join security with their raids and arrests.
- Many lectures have nowadays just simply turned into political speeches demonizing revolutionists and calling them traitor and even inciting violence against them.
We'll end with a follow up on news
we reported yesterday about the group calling themselves the "Free
Christians Fraternity" who planted speakers in the Americans area with
revolutions songs and slogans; army spread in the area randomly arresting
people in an attempt to figure out who did it. The funny thing was that those
who installed the speakers placed a note saying: "Dear citizen; don't
press the off button for it will explode. Dear security member; pls press the
off button to go to hell...!"
Below are videos of today and yesterday.
