Daily report from Latakia on Saturday 26/11/2011
A
demo was organized by "Youth of Change" in Latakia in Slaybeh calling
for freedom and for Homs and all cities, while all people joined in with
their voices from their balconies.
A night protest was
held in Slaybeh during a power blackout calling for the downfall of the
regime, and was followed by another protest supported by people from
their own homes. That all was followed by Assad thugs cars coming to the
place to disperse the crowds while people in their homes kept on
chanting.
Sound of praising God was heard in most areas
like Owieneh, Slaybeh, Sijn, Ashrafieh, Skantoori, Bustan Al-Samkeh,
Al-Hammami, and in Iskan street as well while security was on full
alert.
A swift protest took place in Al-Raml and was
immediately met by live ammunition from security and thugs, two were
injured and one got arrested.
Security presence of 8
cars was in the square of Al-Raml, as one was arrested in vegetable
market. And later on 3 army cars, 3 buses full of Assad thugs, as well
as more than 100 security members came to the square with all traffic
blocked, while searching everyone passing through, as numbers of
soldiers on all barriers in Al-Raml were increased.
Security
patrols roamed in skantoori and Bustan Al-Samkeh. They also spread out
in Qnainas trying to look for and overwrite freedom writing sprayed by
"the spray man".
A big explosion was heard at night in Qnainas.
In
other news, Al-Dounia TV supported by security filmed in Shaikh Daher
to claim that life is normal. Three were arrested in a pro regime demo
of no more than 3000 people in Municipality square.
