It was unusually quite this morning in Kurds Mountain for
quite a while before shelling resumed later on villages like Salma, Dourine,
Marouniat, and al-Kom.
Many houses in Sweirkeh were completely destroyed in addition
to houses in other villages due to extensive shelling on Zubar area. Some of the
houses belonged to: Muhammad Abdo Qanzua, Isam Bikdash, Naser Haj-Bikri,
Muhammad abdul-Hadi Haj-Bikri, and Saleh Jolaq’s house and shop.
Lieutenant colonel Abdul-Sattar Yunso is confirmed to have
died while trying to dismantle a landmine on the Turkish border.
Security and army presence was noticed today on al-Azhari
round-about with news of a weapon shipment reaching from the port.
A police barrier was seen inspecting personal IDs in Rabiah
area near Saraya police station.
Last night gunfire was heard on a barrier at Hirsh Road, and
also in Antakia Street in MarTaqla as tires were being burned in Antakia park.
In Tartous gunfire was heard last night in Bani-Naeem area, then
gunfire moved to al-Aridha border area and it turned out later that the Syrian
army was shooting at the Lebanese side of the borders.
News were circulated yesterday about the release of Alaa
Morelli from Jableh, we sadly learned that she’s still in Assad prisons.
Tonight a demo took place in Slaybeh in support with Syrian cities
and towns.
